MOSCOW, October 29 (RIA Novosti) – Russia has proposed that OSCE representatives and Ukrainian border control examine the contents of the humanitarian aid convoy it is sending to Donbas, expecting cooperation from both sides, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Wednesday.
"In view of the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions the Russian side has proposed that OSCE representatives and Ukrainian border control at the Donetsk checkpoint in the Rostov region, through which the convoy is supposed to pass, examine the contents of the cargo," the statement said.
"The Russian side hopes for constructive cooperation with OSCE and Ukrainian partners on this important humanitarian task," the statement added.
