Siege of Leningrad: the Museum In Modern Saint Petersburg

There is a museum and a so-called “street of life” in Saint-Petersburg both devoted to the memory of sieged Leningrad. We decided to visit this place and invite you to join.












Bread of the sieged city. It was never enough…



This is what was used to feed people: yeast cutlets, a pigskin detail of a weaver’s loom that served for making twenty two different dishes, caked sugar, hiderope remains that sevad lives of one Leningrad family, pancakes from branny quinoa fried in engine oil, carpenter’s glue that was used for making jelly.
