MiG-27 (Flogger-D according to the NATO classification) is a Soviet supersonic fighter-bomber of the third generation with a variable-swept wing. The aircraft is intended to destroy moving and fixed ground and air targets.It can also carry nuclear weapons. Due to the economic crisis of 1993 in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine practically all MiG-27 planes and its modifications were put out of service and transferred to storage facilities.
Today it is the main fighter-bomber of the Indian air forces.
