Russian Empire Photos of Late 19th Century
A nice collection of late 19th century photos of the Russian Empire. It looks like a totally different world from how modern Russia looks now. At that time, Russia included such places as Helsinki and the whole of Finland, Warsaw and Poland. Much more area than now. Each picture has a caption but the captions are in French - though you can easily understand what they mean - like this on top says "Le Palais De Lamiraute" which translates into "Palace of Admiralty". Enjoy the view!

Elite Resorts of Crimea 2015
A blogger, Sergey A., is living in Crimea. He went to the "Elite" resorts of his motherland to see how good are they. What he then posted says "Ashamed. Elite henhouses of Crimea". So these are those houses he is ashamed of - the first line to the Black Sea, the most expensive land and the mini hotels and apartments there.
