MOSCOW, May 30. /TASS/. Delegation of the European Union in Moscow has confirmed receiving a list of 89 EU nationals, who were denied entry to Russia, from the Russian Foreign Ministry, the delegation’s spokesperson Soren Liborius told TASS on Saturday.
Liborius said that the EU office in Moscow had received the list of 89 names from the Foreign Ministry but did not get any additional information.
When asked citizens of what countries were on the list, he replied he had not information.
Earlier in the day the EU External Action Service circulated a statement calling the list unjustified.
"We don't have any other information on legal basis, criteria and process of this decision. We consider this measure as totally arbitrary and unjustified, especially in the absence of any further clarification and transparency," it reads.
