MOSCOW, September 20 (RIA Novosti) – The Russia-EU-Ukraine gas talks will not take place on September 20, other dates are being discussed, the European Commission and the Russian Energy Ministry told RIA Novosti Monday.
“We told the European Commission that the proposed date is not suitable for us. Another date is being discussed,” a spokeswoman for the Russian Energy Ministry said.
A European Commission spokesman said it was informed by the Russian Energy Ministry that “September would not be feasible for Minister [Alexander] Novak.”
“Energy Minister Novak will get back to us with an alternative date,” he added.
