It’s hard to say how many hermits are in Russia today. People go to live in a forest due to different reasons: someone wnats to grow his own type of gingseng, another one jsut wishes to pray in a cave for some months. These pictures were taken by a photographer Danila Tkachenko as part of the project called “Escape”.
