Russia is going to implement army and fleet rearmament, in the period until 2020 it is planned to increase production of air defence missile systems and radar detection and ranging facilities 10 times and even more. With this purposes new technology parks are being created in the country, we are going to visit one of them – located in Saint-Petersburg.
This centre will unite five huge enetrprises – the Obukhov factory, the factory of radio equipment, the design bureau of special machine building, the Russian institute of radio navigation and time, the all-Russian science and research institute of radio equipment. The construction of the whole complex should complete by 2015.
