Russia’s communication satellite Ekspress-AM8 separates from Proton-M rocket

MOSCOW, September 14. /TASS/. Russia’s Proton-M rocket has put a payload consisting of a DM-03 booster and a Russian communication satellite Ekspress-AM8 into a near-earth orbit, Roscosmos press-service has told TASS.

"The satellite will be propelled into the designed orbit with the engines of the DM-03 booster unit," Roscosmos said.

The satellite’s separation from the booster is expected at 04:37 Moscow time on September 15.
