Russian diplomatic mission: NATO's interpretation of relations with Russia simplified

BRUSSELS, May 13. /TASS/. NATO’s information services are imposing on the public their simplified "black and white" interpretation of history of uneasy relations between the Alliance and Russia, Russian diplomatic mission at NATO said on Wednesday in its report Russia-NATO: Myths and Facts.

"The Alliance’s materials, which are consistently updated, are aimed at convincing others that only NATO strengthened European security and stability. There was no room left for any critical assessment of the Alliance’s actions, hard lessons of military operations in the Balkans, in Afghanistan, Libya. But the main thing is that there are no proposals on the constructive agenda that would allow to overcome current dangerous tendencies in the developing military and political situation on the continent. Russian Federation’s efforts on strengthening security architecture in Euro-Atlantic are openly ignored," the document said.
