Serbian prime minister plans to visit Russia in October

BELGRADE, August 13. /TASS/. Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has told reporters on Thursday that he is planning to visit Russia in October.

"I think it will be a big visit with a large number of entrepreneurs," he said but provided no further details. Local media reported about the forthcoming visit last month. The invitation to Vucic from his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev was handed over in April by Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin.

The previous visit of the Serbian premier to Moscow took place on July 7 and 8, 2014. He met with the Russian president and prime minister, with the two sides discussing energy issues, Serbia’s chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2015 and the situation in Ukraine.
